International items handled by CTT use the 13-character S10 format: two letters, nine digits, and the country code PT. Domestic CTT Expresso parcels use their own numeric or alphanumeric reference. You will find the number on the sender's shipping confirmation, on the acceptance receipt if you mailed the item, or printed on the label. Enter it without spaces. CTT Delivery Schedule
CTT delivers on business days, Monday through Friday, with express parcels reaching most mainland addresses the next business day when shipped on time. Deliveries to the Azores and Madeira take longer because they travel by air or sea to the islands. Standard letter mail follows its own routing and is not tracked. If a registered or signature item cannot be delivered, CTT typically leaves a notice and holds the item at a nearby post office for collection within a set period. E-commerce parcels from abroad only enter CTT's delivery network after any required customs clearance is complete.
